According to Fabrizio Romano, Barcelona are interested in bringing the 35-year-old Messi back for the last years of his football career, after which Leo is expected to take some kind of leadership position at the club.

Messi himself will not make hasty decisions and will leave the decision of his future at least until the World Cup in Qatar. The Argentine's current contract with PSG expires next summer, when Messi turns 36.
