The first representatives of the national team of Ukraine will gather today in the capital of Poland and will conduct an intensive training session in preparation for the three September matches of the League of Nations-2022/2023.

The team consists of assistant coaches Andriy Annenkov and Oleksandr Shovkovskyi, goalkeeping coach Vyacheslav Kernozenko, goalkeepers Dmytro Riznyk and Yevhen Volynets, as well as medical and administrative staff of the national team.
Before leaving Kyiv, the national team had an impromptu meeting at the capital's train station with the children's club "Lokomotiv" (Kyiv), who had just returned from an international tournament they had won. Children of different age groups were interested in asking the head coach Oleksandr Petrakov about his path in football, tactical schemes and were interested in the news of the national team. And one of the teenagers boldly offered his services to the national team in the near future, claiming that he is ready to strengthen the national team!
With a good mood, photos and autographs in memory, the children saw off the blue and yellow, wishing them success in the Nations League matches.
Having arrived in the capital of Poland around 10:00 a.m. Central European time, the Ukrainians immediately went to the Marriott hotel, which will be the residence of the main team of Ukraine for three days.
Before lunch, performers of three Ukrainian participants of the European Cups - "Shakhtar", "Dnipro-1" and "Dynamo", who have already played their matches in continental tournaments, will arrive at the location of the national team. Andriy Yarmolenko, a player from the Emirati "Al-Ain", will also join the team today: the calendar break has already begun in the UAE championship.
After lunch and a rest, the blue and yellow will go to the first practice of this gathering. The class will take place on the field of the "Hutnik Warsaw" stadium. The workload of the players today will be different, as the players of "Dynamo" and "Dnipro-1" played matches for their clubs only yesterday, while the rest of the national teams played earlier. So you can expect the guys to work in two groups.
In Warsaw, the blue and yellow team will train for two more days - September 17 and 18, and on the morning of the 19th they will fly to Glasgow. There, representatives of foreign clubs will join the national team. Therefore, on Monday evening, the national team should train in full.
