The Ukrainian national team continues in Warsaw to prepare for the September matches of the League of Nations - against Scotland (September 21 and 27) and Armenia (September 24). On Sunday evening training at the Gutnik stadium, the Blue-Yellows completed the Warsaw period of preparation for the upcoming matches.

After a run and a warm-up, the players worked in squares. Immediately after this, the collections were given the task of possession of the ball. The main part of the training was devoted to working out tactical tasks in game series.

Football players are gradually gaining the necessary game and tactical conditions. It is impossible not to note the atmosphere of uplift and mutual support that reigns in all classes: the guys encourage each other, approvingly speaking about the successful actions of partners on the field.

Today, the same 18 players took part in the lesson as yesterday. On Monday morning (at 11:00), 17 of them, together with the coaching staff and medical and administrative staff, will take a charter flight from Warsaw to Glasgow. Evgeny Volynets, who does not have a British visa, will remain in the capital of Poland (recall that this goalkeeper was called additionally after the injury of Dynamo Kyiv goalkeeper Georgy Bushchan). The debutant of the national team will join the team already in Yerevan before the game with Armenia.

In Glasgow, the Blue-Yellows will settle in the well-known Crowne Plaza hotel (Ukrainians stayed here a year ago before the 1/8 finals of Euro 2020, and in early June of this year before the play-off semi-finals of the 2022 World Cup) . Before and immediately after lunch, seven legionnaires will join the national team: Ruslan Malinovsky, Viktor Kovalenko, Vitaly Mykolenko, Roman Yaremchuk, Taras Kacharaba, Andrey Lunin and Daniil Ignatenko.

In the evening of the same day, the Ukrainian national team will hold a training session on the field of the stadium of the Partick Thistle club.
