On the eve of the resumption of competitions by the main team of the country, one of the priority questions among fans was the issue of broadcasting its matches. After all, the TV channel "Football", which at one time owned the rights to show the games of the national team, ceased to exist.
According to the latest information, the nearest confrontations involving the "blue and yellow" (with Scotland on September 21 and 27, as well as with Armenia on the 24th) will be offered to viewers by the ICTV channel.

For some reason, this nuance of important matches is not covered in any way by the relevant departments of the Ukrainian Football Association, which limited itself to simply handing over the broadcast rights to "Suspilny". Probably, more activity should have been expected from the national federation - at least the kind that accompanied the epic with the creation of a single TV pool in the Premier League.

In fact, the UAF admitted that they played in the story with a single telepool and confirmed the legality of the demands of those clubs who prefer to independently dispose of the television picture from home matches - in particular, providing it for free to a wide range of fans. The opportunity to openly watch the matches of the leading Ukrainian teams in difficult wartime is an important social aspect, which is confirmed by various polls.

While the Ukrainian leather ball masters are preparing for the next tournament tests, the aggressor country is rightfully in almost complete international isolation. And Russian "inventors" are stubbornly looking for opportunities to circumvent sanctions. One of the options was a friendly match with the national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the prospect of which during the week made a good noise, in particular, with the involvement of some of our football personalities.
"We remind you that due to Russia's military aggression against Ukraine, all Russian teams were suspended from participating in all international official FIFA and UEFA competitions. In such a situation, the decision of the Football Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina looks as if it is aimed at supporting the actions and actions of the Russian government in Ukraine regarding the continuation of the war. Please reconsider the decision, which damages the image of your country and the relations between our associations." — with an open letter of the following content, the Ukrainian Football Association addressed its Bosnian colleagues (Uaf.u.a, 10.09.22).
Another appeal was signed by the members of the executive committee of our federation, and they were joined by Ukrainian football legends Oleg Blokhin, Igor Belanov, Andriy Shevchenko, Oleksiy Mykhailychenko, Oleg Protasov and Anatoly Demyanenko.

Earlier, the leading players of the Bosnian team, led by Edin Dzeko, refused to participate in sparring. They were supported by many political figures and sports officials.

Since friendly matches of national teams are outside the jurisdiction of international football governing bodies, neither UEFA nor FIFA formally have the right to insist on the cancellation of such meetings. However, according to some information, the European Football Union is working on a series of sanctions against potential contacts with the country, whose clubs and national teams are currently excluded from all official competitions.

The meeting with the Bosnians is scheduled for November 19. However, an even more important date in the case of the suspension of Russian football players from tournaments involving representatives of the civilized world is October 9, when the draw for the qualification of the European Championship in 2024 will take place.
It is clear to everyone that Russia and, apparently, its accomplice Belarus do not have the right to participate in the Euros, which, in particular, is stated in Germany itself, which will host the final tournament.

Despite the wave of provocative and speculative publications in the Russian press, from where they are trying to openly pressure UEFA, most analysts are inclined to the opinion that the European Football Union will not shoot itself in the foot by flirting with an insolent aggressor.

The UAF, according to some of its leaders, is also taking active steps to strengthen the anti-Russian lobby ahead of the Euro 2024 draw. While we are waiting for specifics regarding these efforts, we would like to draw the attention of our football officials to the act of one of the Ukrainian figures, worthy of the reaction of at least the disciplinary bodies of the national federation.
We are talking about Gennady Zubov, a former player of the national team of Ukraine and Shakhtar, who recently worked in the reserve training system of the Donetsk club. At the height of the war, he moved to St. Petersburg, where he will work as a coach of the local club "Zvezda".
Of course, the very first question regarding Zubov's escape is how did a conscript citizen born in 1977 leave the border? But the next ones already lie in the entire football plane.
