Former head coach and captain of the Ukrainian national team Andriy Shevchenko met in Warsaw with the leader of the Polish national team Robert Lewandowski and handed him the blue and yellow captain's armband.

Andrey Nikolaevich asked Robert to bring the “frame” to the field at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar with this armband.

“Thank you, Andrey. It was a pleasure to meet you! It will be an honor for me to wear this captain's armband in the colors of Ukraine at the World Cup," the Pole wrote on his Instagram.
