As the source informs, one of the partners of the English club, the Asian bookmaker 8XBet, has a very dubious reputation. It is reported that the company's social media pages are run from the United Arab Emirates, where gambling is illegal. There are also problems with access to the company's website and its other versions - they almost never work.

Manchester City's website states that 8XBet was founded in 2018 by Ryan Lee, but the 8xbet.com domain was put up for sale last November. There is no information about the owner of the company in search engines, all mentions of him are related to articles about the betting company.

At least two of the journalists who quoted Ryan Lee did not speak to him in person, but instead received quotes via email from a British company whose name they are not authorized to disclose.

Thus, Manchester City is again suspected of attempting to circumvent Financial Fair Play.
