From today, there will be one player less at the disposal of the Ukrainian national team: the midfielder of the Italian Spezia Viktor Kovalenko will leave the camp of the national team.

The day before, the 26-year-old footballer underwent an MRI examination, which revealed a tear in the adductor muscle. This rules out Kovalenko's participation in the remaining Nations League matches (against Armenia on 24 September and against Scotland on 27 September).
