Genoa on its official Twitter page announced the termination of the agreement with Ukrainian coach Andriy Shevchenko by mutual agreement of the parties.

Shevchenko took over the club in November 2021, but was fired in January 2022. All this time he was on a contract with the club.
Under the guidance of the Ukrainian mentor, the team lost 7 matches, drew 3 times and won 1 match.
Earlier it was reported that Genoa would have to pay Shevchenko's coaching staff about 20 million euros for early termination of cooperation.
