At the beginning of the meeting, the teams exchanged shots by Suslov and Vanat on target. Then Batagov fouled in his own penalty area, and the hosts earned a penalty. Trubin, who had been playing for the national team two days ago, parried an 11-meter kick from Suslov, but failed to cope with the finishing move from the Slovak.
However, in the 17th minute, the Blue-and-Yellows bounced back - Sudakov hit the target from a free kick, and Vyunik was the first to finish off. In the future, the Ukrainians could still score, in particular, Belko rescued after the blows of Mikhailenko and Kryskiv. Subsequently, the ball went into the gates of the Slovaks, but the referees did not count Vanat's goal due to offside. Before the break, the teams exchanged shots by Sudakov and Suslov on target.
The beginning of the second half was marked by three goals. First, Sagittarius robbed Sirota, burst into the penalty area and, with a rebound from Ovcharenko, sent the ball into the net. The Ukrainians responded to this with a productive combination of Sudakov - Bondarenko - Kryskiv. However, in the 53rd minute, Sagittarius scored a brace, inflicting a billiard kick from the entrance to the penalty area.
This time the Ukrainian team failed to bounce back, although there were chances, including from afar above the goal, Sudakov shot, and Sikan failed to get into the near corner after Ocheretko's cross. In the time added by the referee, the goalkeeper of the Slovaks came to the rescue after Sikan's shot. As a result, Ruslan Rotan's wards lost - 2:3.
The return match between the youth teams of Ukraine and Slovakia will take place on September 27 in the Polish city of Bielsko-Biala (beginning at 18.30 Kyiv time).
