The head coach of the Italian national team, Roberto Mancini, commented on his team's victory in the match of the 5th round of the Nations League against England (1:0). Azzurri striker Giacomo Raspadori scored the only goal.
"We beat England, which is one of the strongest national teams in the world. The game system is not important to us. What is important is the individuality that the team has, the desire to attack and stay on top - and in these components we have shown ourselves well. We needed this victory," Mancini was quoted as saying by UEFA's press service.
Let's add that after 5 rounds, the Italian national team occupies the second place in the group, having 8 points to its credit. England were relegated early to Division B.
