- Disagree. Every match for any team is of principle. Everyone wants to win. I don't think that the Scots were thinking about the play-off round of the World Cup. They just wanted to win. The Ukrainians held the same opinion. It's just that the British have more of this desire.
— Can we say that such a crushing defeat a week earlier was a kind of misunderstanding?
— Already in the first half there were alarm bells. The impressions were not pleasant. We couldn't resist anything. I didn't expect so many mistakes from the leaders in the first place. The same Ruslan Malinovsky... I don't remember such games from him. At first it was worrying, but after the break it was confirmed that this was not the day of the Ukrainian national team.
— Did the match in Yerevan show that the Ukrainian national team drew conclusions?
— The first half, again, did not impress. Andriy Lunin played well in several moments. Before the second half, there was no impression that the national team of Ukraine could win with a score of 5:0. However, "blue and yellow" bent their line, and after the third goal, the Armenians surrendered themselves to the mercy of the winner.
