The president of Chernihiv "Desna" Volodymyr Levin told when the restoration of the club, which ceased to exist due to Russia's attack on Ukraine, will begin.
Volodymyr Levin— The restoration system will be as follows: in order to launch Chernihiv "Desna", it is necessary to build a stadium. We made a children's academy project. When we rebuild the children's academy (the project will cost about 1 million 300 thousand US dollars), the next question will be the rebuilding of the team. As soon as we have a field, we will start rebuilding the team. In the process, we will begin the restoration of the Gagarin Stadium: on the terms of a public-private partnership. We already have a stadium project. But today the primary task is to help the Armed Forces as much as possible, so it is too early to say about the timing of the restoration of the first Desna team: when the war began, I thought that we would win in one month. I still believe that in a month Ukraine will celebrate victory. So, immediately after the Ukrainian victory, it will be possible to talk about the exact terms of the restoration of "Desna", Levin said.
