Donetsk Shakhtar entered the match of the 5th round of the Ukrainian Championship against Metalist in T-shirts dedicated to the captive from Azovstal Mikhail Dianov. The T-shirts feature a famous photograph of a Ukrainian soldier, which was taken during the encirclement of Azovstal in Mariupol in May 2022. Dianova and 214 other prisoners of Azovstal were returned to the territory of Ukraine as a result of an exchange on September 21.
