RB Leipzig striker Christopher Nkunku is close to a move to Chelsea, reports Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano on Twitter.
Christopher NkunkuThe leadership of the Londoners agreed a personal contract with the Frenchman until 2028. Chelsea are set to reach an agreement with the Bulls in the coming weeks to sign Nkunku in the summer of 2023.
Earlier it became known that the 24-year-old footballer secretly underwent part of the medical examination for "Chelsea" at the end of August. And before that, in June, Nkunku extended his contract with Leipzig until 2026. The amount of severance pay in the new contract is set at 60 million euros.
