Yesterday's match of the 3rd round of the Europa League group stage between French Rennes and Dynamo Kyiv (2:1) became the 250th match in European competition for the head coach of the Ukrainian team Mircea Lucescu.

This allowed the Romanian specialist to overtake the famous French "coach" Arsene Wenger in this indicator and take second place in the rating of coaches in terms of the number of matches played in European competitions.

The legendary Scotsman Alex Ferguson, who has 269 European Cup matches, is in the lead among the “Guards” coaches. And the current head coach of Real Madrid, Italian Carlo Ancelotti, closes the top three in the rating: he played 230 matches in European competitions.
