This week seemed very unfortunate for Ukrainian football. For three, our clubs scored only one point.
It was earned by Dnipro-1, which snatched a draw in the game with Vaduz (2:2). But Shakhtar and Dynamo lost their matches in different tournaments.
The Donetsk team fought against Real Madrid, but lost with a score (1:2), while the people of Kiev did not hold a draw with Rennes. Due to Popov's mistake in the ending, Dynamo lost with the same score.
This allowed Ukraine to get a little closer to Switzerland in the UEFA coefficients table. The country of the cantons did not score a single point due to the defeat of Zurich and Basel.
Also, our association broke away from Russia. Recall that clubs from the occupying country are not allowed to this European season due to the war against Ukraine.
