Milan midfielder Sandro Tonali commented on Fikayo Tomori's red card in the match of the 4th round of the Champions League against Chelsea (0:2). The defender was sent off in the 18th minute for a foul against Mason Mount.
"Such cases happen a lot. Award a penalty and give a red in the 18th minute for such a touch. With the same success, you can turn football into basketball, where any touch is considered a foul.
We must be strong and direct our anger in the right direction. We must turn the anger from these decisions into positive energy for the next two matches," Tonali was quoted as saying by Football Italia.
