We also invited Igor Jovicevich to the post of head coach of the team. This is a Croatian mentor with a European mentality and a Ukrainian brave heart. He is ready to be in Ukraine and, together with the Ukrainians, share all the difficulties and dangers. This deserves deep respect. Therefore, I believe in Igor and his ideas, I believe in the coaching staff, I believe in our team. I believe in the young, ambitious, Ukrainian Shakhtar. And I know that in every tournament, in every match we will fight not only for the club, but also for our country,” Akhmetov said.
