The information that appeared earlier about the nature of the injury of Dynamo Kyiv goalkeeper Denis Boyko, which he received in a recent match with Rukh (3:0) in the 6th round of the Ukrainian championship, has been officially confirmed.
According to official site "white-blue", last Sunday the goalkeeper underwent an in-depth examination in one of the clinics in Barcelona. According to its results, he was diagnosed with damage to the anterior cruciate ligament and an operation was prescribed.
The recovery period after this kind of injury is at least six months. This means that Boyko will be able to start full-fledged training and the return of lost physical and game conditions no earlier than April.
Recall that earlier Dynamo was left without one of its main goalkeepers - Georgy Bushchan, who injured his meniscus in the first half of September and was operated on. His return to service is expected no earlier than November.
Thus, in the near future, the Dynamo coaching staff will be able to count only on young goalkeepers - Ruslan Neshcheret (20 years old), Denis Ignatenko (21 years old) and Valentin Morgun (21 years old)
