The French PSG conducted an analysis of the financial situation in the club and received a disappointing loss, reports Le Parisien.
According to the results of the last season, the losses of the Parisian club amounted to more than €300 million (and according to some estimates, the exact figure is about €350 million), which exceeds the previous forecasts of the management.
The reasons for the heavy losses are that too many players are on high-wage contracts, as well as the lingering impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. The number of players who were loaned out or sold to other clubs brought PSG a profit of €55 million. However, the club understands that it is necessary to make considerable efforts to break even.
