The television company Setanta Sports, which currently broadcasts part of the matches of the Ukrainian championship, is close to terminating cooperation with the UPL in this type of activity. This was announced by the former director of the former TV channels Akhmetov "Football" Alexander Denisov.

“As of today, I know that there is a very high probability that Setanta will leave the agreement with the UPL altogether. And they can be understood. All agreements have been violated, and they have not received anything prescribed in the contract," Denisov said.

Recall that on the basis of Setanta Sports it was planned to create a single TV pool for broadcasting matches of the championship of Ukraine, but this proposal did not suit five UPL clubs, and their matches are shown by the 1+1 media group. The useless attempt of the UAF and the UPL to make a scandal on this ground turned out to be a failure for these organizations: the Verkhovna Rada adopted a law that secured the rights of Ukrainian football clubs to broadcast their home matches on television.
