On Thursday, "Dynamo" played a home match of the Europa League group round against the French "Rennes" at the Józef Pilsudski Stadium "Krakowia" in Krakow.
"Dynamo" football club thanks all Ukrainians and Poles who, despite difficult times and conditions, came to the stands of the stadium in Krakow and supported our team.
Spectators in the stands not only closely followed the course of the football match, but also actively expressed their civic position in front of television and photo cameras. Many fans brought to the stadium patriotic posters with slogans of support for the temporarily occupied cities of Ukraine and thanks to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"Dynamo" is not only a football team, but also an important social mission, especially at this time. We are very grateful to our fans for their support and civic stance," Dynamo president Ihor Surkis said after the match.
The most active fans hung a banner dedicated to the famous "white and blue" fan Maxim "Rugbyst" Yalovtsov, who died at the front. After the final whistle, Dynamo players went to the sector where the fans hung this banner to pay their respects to the fallen Hero together with them.
"Dynamo" sincerely thanks the fans for their support in Kraków, far from their native Kyiv! Ahead is another important home match in the group against Fenerbahce. We are waiting for fans in the stands at this match!
