The head of the Russian Football Union, Alexander Dyukov, commented on the joint application of Ukraine, Spain and Portugal to host the 2030 World Cup.
Alexander Dyukov- At the moment, I do not see any commercial, marketing logic from such an application. The addition of a third state to the original bid of Spain and Portugal did not make it stronger. Apart from politics, I don’t see anything in this,” Russian media quote Dyukov as saying.
Recall that the non-country Dyukova herself cannot not only submit any application for anything, but is simply expelled from all international football competitions.
