UAF President Andriy Pavelko said that so far there will be only one match with VAR in the round of the Ukrainian Championship (plus the VAR paid by the clubs), but after the war there is a hope to have all the matches of the round with the VAR system.
“We understand that during the war there are questions about logistics and human resources. Therefore, it was decided that one match in the round was decided by the UPL to serve VAR at the expense of the UAF.
And the rest of the VAR vans remain ready for the moment when we can serve all the matches.
There is an idea to purchase a fourth van so that after the war we will have the opportunity to close VAR all matches,” Pavelko said.
