“The football referee, neurosurgeon, released from Russian captivity, Dmitry Kubryak, is back on the football field.

He is a pupil of the football department of the Youth Sports School-2 in Kropyvnytskyi. He was the referee of the first league of the Ukrainian football championship from the Odessa region. Received a medical education in Odessa. He worked as a neurosurgeon in the Dnipro military hospital. Then he saved lives in Mariupol, helped wounded soldiers at Azovstal. He was taken prisoner with them in April of this year.

Despite everything that he had to endure during the most terrible five months of his life, he does not lose his fighting spirit. I had the honor to thank Dmitry and award the "Sign of Respect" from the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

Ukraine is fighting for the dismissal and return home of all its Heroes!” Gutzeit wrote on his Facebook page, attaching the above photo.
