Before the start of the draw, all 16 participants of the European Championship will be divided into four pots according to their UEFA youth national team rankings. The Ukrainian "youth team" was in the last, fourth pot. So, the probability that Ruslan Rotan's team will get the strongest possible opponents is very high.

Basket 2: Netherlands, England, Italy, Romania.
Basket 3: Croatia, Switzerland, Belgium, Czech Republic.
Basket 4: UKRAINE, Norway, Israel, Georgia.
Based on the results of the draw, four groups of four teams each will be formed. The two strongest teams from each quartet will advance to the Euro quarter-finals.
