Dnipro-1 head coach Oleksandr Kucher summed up the results of yesterday's match between his team and Inhulets (2:2) in the 8th round of the Ukrainian Championship. It should be noted that in this meeting, the Dnipro team lost points for the first time in the current championship - Kucher's team won all their previous matches.
“We played against a very organized and aggressive team that did well in defense. It's been a very difficult game for us. But judging by the mistakes that we made today, we could not win enough, but a draw.
There were a lot of mistakes and we could have missed even more. However, at the end of the match they could have won. If we had immediately played the way we did in the last 10-15 minutes, the result would have been different. We have to go out from the beginning of the match with the same attitude as we had at the end, and give it our all. And then something will come out. And when you only want it, you won't succeed.
Pause in the match due to air raid alert? Of course, this affects the mood of the team, but we are with the opponent in the same conditions. Therefore, one should not look for excuses in this, ”said Kucher after the match with Ingulets.
