The forward of Brugge and the Ukrainian national team Roman Yaremchuk brought 1 million euros in bonuses to his previous club Benfica, according to the Portuguese newspaper O Jogo.
The agreement on the transfer of Yaremchuk contained a clause that if Brugge reached the playoffs of the Champions League, then Benfica would receive 1 million euros. Based on the results of four rounds of the Champions League, Brugge guaranteed themselves advance to the 1/8 finals ahead of schedule.
It is reported that the Portuguese club can receive another 2 million euros in bonuses, and is also entitled to 10% of the next sale of Yaremchuk.
