The well-known commentator and blogger Viktor Vatsko assessed the chances of the youth team of Ukraine to successfully compete at Euro 2023. The journalist recalled 2011, when a lot was expected from the U-21 national team, but it could not get out of the group.

"Then Pavel Yakovenko's team with Rakitsky, Yarmolenko, Konoplyanka, Stepanenko had to fight for the highest places at the European Championship, and in the end took the last place in the group.
Therefore, now we need to be more modest with our promises and be more persistent in our work," Watsko said on the "Stara Shkola" broadcast.
