The 394th Weekly Report of the International Center for Sports Research is devoted to the ranking of the teams that have prepared the largest number of players playing in the top 31 European Championships, as well as in the top five leagues, respectively. Clubs were taken into account in which the players played for at least three years between their 15th and 21st birthdays.
Ajax tops the table (trained 85 players), ahead of Benfica (73). In third place in Europe is Dynamo Kyiv, whose 72 pupils are players in different Leagues of the Old World.
It should be noted that Real Madrid (Madrid) ranks first among the big five players (43), ahead of Barcelona (38) and the French duo PSG and Olympique Lyon (34). Sporting CP are top of the league's non-Big 5 clubs with the most prepared players currently playing in the five major leagues (24), while River Plate leads the league outside of Europe (14).
The weekly report also presents the Training Index, calculated by the ratio of the number of players trained at the club to their experience. The last indicator combines the official minutes of the game and the experience level of all the players participating in the matches. Ajax and Real Madrid also top the 31 European top divisions and big five player preparation index respectively, while Sporting CP are third in both tables.
The included players must have been present on 1 October of the reporting year as part of the first team of the analyzed clubs. In addition, they must have already played domestic league games in the current season or, if they were not, played senior league matches during each of the previous two. In all cases, a second and a possible third goalkeeper were considered.
