The beginning of the match "Dynamo" succeeded. Already in the 4th minute of the meeting, the people of Kiev were close to opening the scoring: in response to Tymchik's cross from the right flank, Buyalsky, playing ahead of his opponents, shot in touch from the goalkeeper's line, but the AEK goalkeeper, demonstrating excellent reaction, managed to parry with his foot this blow. And in the 14th minute, Vanat completely sent the ball into the goal of AEK after Buyalsky's excellent cutting pass, but he hurried a little with a jerk and ended up offside - the goal was not counted.
Well, in the end, the ball flew into the goal of the Ukrainian team. It happened in the 26th minute of the meeting, when Farazh filed from the right into the Dynamo penalty area and there, free from guardianship, Altman sent the ball under the crossbar of Neshcheret's goal with a spectacular blow in the fall - 1:0.
In the remaining time of the first half, Dynamo had an advantage in terms of ball control, but failed to demonstrate any other superiority over the opponent. Nevertheless, in the 45th minute of the meeting, the people of Kiev still managed to level the score: Buyalsky in the penalty area received a pass from Vivcharenko, played on Vanat, and he, having won the fight against the opponent, sent the ball into the near corner of the goal with a kick from the goalkeeper's corner AEKa - 1:1. And it was with such a score on the scoreboard that the teams went on a break.
But already in the debut of the second half, Dynamo conceded the second goal. Englezu easily broke through the left flank, served into the penalty area, where Lopes won the fight in the air without any tension and sent the ball into the net of Neshcheret's goal with a header from six meters away - 2:1.
In the future, there was a relatively equal fight on the field. Which ended with the third goal of AEK. In the counterattack of the Cypriots, Farazh found Altman from Kiev with a pass in the penalty area, he won the individual duel against Tymchik and sent the ball into the far corner of the "white-blue" goal - 3:1.
But Dynamo did not give up. And in the 82nd minute of the meeting, the Kievans changed the score: Tymchik performed a cross pass to the penalty area of AEK, where Garmash, having confidently won the fight in the air, drove the ball into the net of the Cypriot goal - 3:2. And in stoppage time of the second half, Garmash scored a double: after a corner kick, the ball was right at his feet, and Denis did not lose his head, hitting the target with a kick from the goalkeeper's line - 3:3.
Let us add that in another match of the 5th round in Group B of the Europa League, Turkish Fenerbahce played a draw at home with French Rennes — 3:3. As a result, the standings of the teams in this group took on the following form: Rennes - 11 points, Fenerbahce - 11, AEK - 4, Dynamo - 1.
Thus, Dynamo, taking into account the result of the first match with AEK (0:1), lost the chance to take even the third place in the group, which would allow Mircea Lucescu's team to continue the fight in the playoffs of the Conference League.
In the next, final round, Group B will play: Dynamo - Fenerbahce, Rennes - AEK. Both meetings will take place next Thursday, November 3.
