Based on the results of the European Cup matches that took place this week, Ukraine has improved its position in the UEFA coefficients table.
It should be noted that this week Ukrainian clubs, which continue to play in European competitions, managed to score five points for three (Shakhtar's draw with Celtic, Dynamo's draw with AEK, and Dnipro-1's victory over Apollon).
Such results allowed Ukraine to overtake Switzerland in the UEFA coefficients table and take 15th place. Entering this position can be considered significant, because the countries that occupy places from 16th below in the table delegate only one representative to the Champions League, not two.
Recall that the final table of UEFA coefficients this season will determine the representation of countries in the European competitions of the 2024/25 season.
