Italy could replace Tunisia for 2022 World Cup

Such a decision can be made if FIFA excludes Tunisia from the list of participants in the 2022 World Cup in connection with the interference of the government of this country in the affairs of the national football association of Tunisia. The fact is that the day before, the Minister of Youth and Sports of Tunisia, Kamel Deguiche, made it clear that he could dissolve the Tunisian Football Federation.

If the Tunisian national team is really suspended, its place at the 2022 World Cup could be taken by the Italian national team as the team that occupies the highest place in the FIFA national teams ranking among the teams that failed to qualify for the World Cup.
