According to media reports, this was caused by a conflict between Yaremchuk and Brugge head coach Karl Hoefkens, which arose due to the fact that the Ukrainian during training expressed dissatisfaction with his absence from the starting lineup for the mentioned match with Ostend. However, later the Brugge mentor denied any conflict with Yaremchuk.
We add that this season Yaremchuk took part in 10 matches of Brugge, and only in four cases was in the starting lineup. The forward has two goals and two assists.
