The press officer of the Tajik national team, Faridun Saliev, said that FIFA and the Asian Football Confederation did not put pressure on the country's Football Federation because of the match with the Russian national team, which, we recall, is scheduled for November 17 in Dushanbe.
“There is no pressure from FIFA and AFC. The Football Federation of Tajikistan has already received authorization from FIFA for friendly matches between the national futsal teams of Tajikistan and Russia, which will be held on November 7 and 8 in Dushanbe. The necessary documents were also sent to hold a friendly match between the football teams,” Saliev said.
Recall that earlier in Russia it was announced that on November 19, a friendly match between Russia and Bosnia and Herzegovina would be held in St. Petersburg. However, immediately after that, the Bosnian footballers simply refused to take part in the game with the team of the terrorist country. As a result, the sparring was cancelled. But in Russia they keep quiet about it: they washed and shut up, as befits outcasts.
Recall that all Russian teams, both at the level of clubs and at the level of national teams, have been expelled from all international competitions. In particular, the current European Cup season is already taking place without the clubs of the aggressor country. In addition, the Russian team is not allowed to Euro 2024.
