Rukh U-19 and Shakhtar U-19 reached the playoffs of the Youth Champions League

Two Ukrainian teams at once successfully overcame the autumn part of the UEFA Youth League of the 2022/23 season.

Shakhtar U-19 in the group with Real Madrid, RB Leipzig and Celtic finished second, and Rukh U-19, on the way to the winners of the national youth championships, managed to cope first with the Polish Zaglebie (1:0, 0:0), and then with Turkish Galatasaray (3:1, 3:1).

As a result, both teams advanced to the playoff round of the UEFA Youth League for the right to continue the fight in the 1/8 finals of the tournament. The draw for the play-offs will take place next Tuesday, 8 November. And the playoff matches of the round will be held on February 7 and 8.

It should be noted that for the first time in history, two Ukrainian teams will play in the playoffs of the UEFA Youth League.
