The UAF Referee Committee has appointed a referee team for the match of the 11th round of the Ukrainian Championship between Chornomorets Odessa and Dynamo Kyiv, which will be held next Sunday, November 6, in Odessa at the Chernomorets Stadium (beginning at 15:00).
Judge in the field - Andriy Kovalenko from Poltava. This season, this 34-year-old referee has already officiated one match involving Dynamo: in the 2nd round of the Ukrainian Championship, Kovalenko worked as the chief referee of the match between Kiev and Dnipro-1 (0:3). In that meeting, the Poltava resident showed seven yellow cards (four to Dynamo players and three to Dnipro-1 players) and recorded 26 fouls.
The paths of Kovalenko and Dynamo crossed last season as well. First, this referee worked at the match for the Ukrainian Super Cup, in which the Kiev team lost to Shakhtar (0:3), and then the Poltava resident officiated the match of the 1/8 finals of the Ukrainian Cup Mariupol - Dynamo (1:2).
The line judges in the Chornomorets-Dynamo match will be V. Zhuribida (Lutsk) and V. Dumenko (Kharkiv). The fourth referee is Vitaliy Romanov from Zaporozhye. The work of the arbitrators will be assessed by Gennady Kovalenko, representing Kyiv.
We add that the video assistance system for VAR referees will not be used at the upcoming meeting.
Recall that the match "Chernomorets" - "Dynamo" will be held on Sunday, November 6, in Odessa at the stadium "Chernomorets" (beginning at 15:00).
