Wolverhampton Wolves have announced the appointment of Spaniard Julen Lopetegui as head coach.
The term of the contract of the 56-year-old specialist is not reported, however, it is noted that Lopetegui will begin to fulfill his duties on November 14, when he will receive a work permit along with his headquarters.
It was reported that a contract was prepared for the Spaniard until 2024 with the option of extending for another season.
On October 5, Lopetegui was fired from Sevilla after losing to Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League (1:4). Wolverhampton had sacked head coach Bruno Lage a few days earlier.
The club occupies the penultimate place in the Premier League standings.
