Chelsea defender Ben Chilwell will not be able to travel with England to the World Cup in Qatar due to an injury, the club's press service reported.

In the Champions League match against Dinamo Zagreb, the 25-year-old footballer suffered a serious hamstring injury. Ben confirmed on his Twitter page that he had lost his dream of playing at the World Cup.

Chilwell was set to compete with Luke Shaw to be England's main left-back in Qatar but will now be forced to miss the tournament, with Kieran Trippier likely to be the Manchester United defender's main competition.
