The head of the Dynamo delegation in Cologne, Yuri Dmitrulin, commented on the game of the U-15 team with Bochum (3:3) and spoke about the stay of two teams in Germany:
“Today turned out to be a good, instructive game. When the guys won 3:1 during the match, it was necessary to play more confidently during the transition from defense to attack and vice versa. And they made such mistakes that, it seems, even with a stronger opponent, they would not have happened. In this regard, there is something to work on, the guys pointed out these errors. It also caught my eye that the opposing team was a little stronger and more powerful, so our guys were a little behind, especially in the middle of the second half, when they got hooked and did not defend as effectively, in particular, not as many players as needed. They also made ridiculous mistakes and played poorly in the selection.
- Over the past three months, Dynamo teams have played many test matches, what can you say about the level of rivals and their quality?
— During this time, we had different games. It happened that the opponents were a year or a year and a half older, so in the first weeks it was hard for our guys. And then they got involved in the training mode, began, as they say, to play with their heads. They told the players that if they were dealing with older rivals, they shouldn't try to run over or push them, but play pass, play their own football, and everything would be fine. So in this regard, we had very good games with the leading German academies. In general, we have a favorable location, because there are many high-quality teams in and around Cologne. All the games that were offered to us are very useful.
— Are you already fully accustomed to everyday conditions? Do Dynamo players have a well-established schedule that combines school, training and games?
- We went here in the summer, but we warned the guys that schooling would begin in the fall. Since they are without parental control, they have to develop self-discipline and responsibility. Whoever needs it, who studies in specialized schools, studies seriously. In general, everyone copes with both school education and the training process. We were provided with two excellent fields for training, the guys in the hotel have the Internet for online training, so everything is more or less normal.
- What are your expectations from your further stay in Germany and the prospects for the development of the guys? What impact will the German period have on their future football careers?
- Despite the fact that we have high-quality sparring here, they will not replace official matches, the tension present in the championship games, and the competitive mood. Apparently, somewhere in the middle of December, the test matches are over, so it was agreed with the leadership of the academy to return to Ukraine on the eve of the New Year. The guys missed their relatives and friends, so we will stay at home for a certain time, and then, most likely, we will return to Germany again to continue training and playing.
