Valery ZuevValery Zuev (1952-2016) - a former Soviet football player who played as a defender. At one time, he defended the colors of Kyiv SKA and Dynamo, Dnipropetrovsk Dnipro and Rostov SKA. Four-time champion and three-time winner of the USSR Cup. Winner of the Cup Winners' Cup and the UEFA Super Cup. As part of the USSR national team, he played 1 friendly match. After completing his career, he was engaged in coaching. At one time, for ten years, Valery Zuev was an assistant to the head coach of Dynamo Kyiv. Valery Leonidovich passed away on May 6, 2016.
David de Gea (1990) - Spanish goalkeeper for Manchester United. De Gea is a graduate of Atlético Madrid, with whom he won the Europa League and the UEFA Super Cup. In 2011, David, as part of the Spanish youth team, won the European Youth Championship.
Dmitry Chygrinsky (1986) - defender of the Greek "Ionikos". Previously performed at AEK. He played one season in the Spanish "Barcelona", but after unsuccessful performances in the Catalan team, he was sold back to Shakhtar Donetsk. Five-time champion and four-time winner of the Ukrainian Cup. Winner of the UEFA Cup season 2008/09.
Martin Palermo (1973) - former striker of the Argentine Boca Juniors. During his career, he managed to play for such clubs as Estudiantes, Villarreal, Betis, and Deportivo Alaves. But only as part of Boca, Palermo managed to fully realize himself as a striker. As part of the Yellow-Blues, Martin won many trophies, including the Intercontinental Cup in 2000. During his career, Palermo played 605 matches in which he scored 296 goals. In April 2011, the Argentine forward announced his retirement from playing.
Rio Ferdinand (1978) - former English central defender. He played more than 80 matches for the England national team and took part in three World Cups. In addition to playing football, Rio is involved in a number of music and television projects, including the Rio's World Cup Wind-Ups series.
