The match between Veres Rivne and Dynamo Kyiv in the 14th round of the Ukrainian Championship (the base day of the tour is November 19) can be played by fans, despite the current ban due to martial law. Veres General Director Anton Nazaruk spoke about this.
“We all know and understand how much Rivne fans want to see a top-level opponent at our renovated Avangard stadium. Taking into account all the factors, we turned to the regional military administration with a request to allow the match to be held with spectators in the amount corresponding to the seats in the available bomb shelters near the stadium.
The issuance of this permit was delegated to the Rivne City Council. The decision to grant the appropriate permission has not been made. Due to bureaucratic procedures, we cannot speed up this process in any way. However, work in this direction is underway. In all likelihood, we will be able to resolve the issue of allowing fans to the stands before the match against Dynamo. We especially thank the UPL for understanding our situation,” Nazaruk said.
