Ukrainian midfielder of the English "Brentford" Yegor Yarmolyuk, who moved to this club from Dnipro-1 last summer, played the first official match for his new team.
The 18-year-old football player was included in Brentford's squad for yesterday's League Cup 3rd round match against Gillingham (1:1, pen. - 5:6), and in the 72nd minute of the meeting he came on as a substitute. Yarmolyuk failed to distinguish himself with effective actions. The Ukrainian was also not involved in the penalty shoot-out.
It should be noted that until that time, Yarmolyuk took part only in matches of the Brentford backup team, and played for the first team of his club only in test matches. In the last days of October, the Ukrainian midfielder was included in Brentford's application for the English championship match with Wolverhampton (1:1), but he did not appear on the field in this meeting.
