On Thursday, November 10, in the match of the 12th round of the Ukrainian Championship, Dynamo Kyiv defeated Oleksandriya with a score of 3:1. The meeting was held in Kyiv at the Dynamo Stadium named after Valery Lobanovsky. Your attention is the post-match press conference of the head coaches of the teams.
Mircea LUCHESCU, Dynamo head coach:
— Important three points for us. Finally returned home. Now we train and play in more pleasant conditions. No moving from place to place.
I told the guys more than once that now the main thing for us is to take points, compensate for the losses that occurred through our fault, and catch up with the leading group.
I'm glad for the victory, because today we played against an opponent who demonstrates very good football. I really liked Alexandria. The team plays open, attacking football, using a large number of combinations, easily reaching the opponent's goal.
We had to play in such a way as to anticipate the opponent's moves, act compactly during the tackles and then quickly play the zones. And so it happened. With the help of such a game, we scored goals. Could have scored more. But the opponent could have scored more goals for us.
I would like to watch the episodes with falls in the Alexandria penalty area by Tsygankov and Vanat. It seemed to me that there was a foul on Tsygankovo. If you do not give a penalty, you are not sure of such a decision, then do not give a yellow card. There are contacts in which it is impossible to stand on your feet.
In the situation with the fall of Vanat, it also seemed to me that there was a foul. And besides, if we proceed from the logic of the moment with Tsygankov, then Vanat could have received a yellow card, which would have been his second in this match. That is, we see a different interpretation from the arbiter.
As for Shulyansky's goal, our Dynamo players always take the field with redoubled energy in matches against us, trying to show themselves. Congratulations to Shulyansky - he was persistent and deserved this goal.
— After an injury, Buschan played one match, after which he ended up on the bench. Why?
- My mistake. It was too early for him to go out to play. But Zhora returned from injury with such enthusiasm and such a great desire that we put him in the squad. But he wasn't ready yet. Perhaps he will play in the next match.
- Was it important for Buschan to play against Fenerbahce?
- Not. There was no subtext. He just came back with a great desire and wanted to play. Except for one episode, he played well. But it was felt that after such a long pause it was difficult for him to get into the game right away. I often asked him to play the ball from the goal, but again and again he used long passes, after which we lost the ball and provided an advantage to the opponent. But we can fix this.
Neshcheret trains well. Therefore, there are no problems here. Both Bushchan and Neshcheret are players of the Ukrainian national team and the Dynamo first team. I need to find a balance so that they both play. These are two high level goalkeepers.
Yuriy GURA, Oleksandriya head coach:
— We were knocked down by a quick goal. And having taken the lead, Dynamo gave us the opportunity to play the first number, and caught us on the counterattack - scored the second goal. Then the standard position - and the third goal. I have no complaints about my wards, but the defeat is insulting.
- Today, Oleksandriya spent almost the entire match in attack. Was it your decision, or was it just the way the game worked out?
- The task for the team for this match was to take control of the ball, to deprive the opponent of it. But, I repeat, the goal confused us. It was clear that Dynamo began to play number two, retreated to their own half of the field, and it was already very difficult for us to pass the opponent's defense.
Nevertheless, there were many good moments in our game today. Especially when we quickly went on the attack through fast passes, when we moved the ball from flank to flank, and then delivered it to the central zone.
