"They chose not to hide it from their teammates, and why would they? No one is worried about it, and they have the support of the head coach and the management of the club. But they chose not to make public statements - although none of them are shy about it, and it could still happen. During the season, they want to focus on football. And although a public statement would be a positive thing, it could distract them from playing on the field," said one of the friends of the gay couple in an interview with The Sun.
