A billionaire from India plans to buy "Liverpool"

Indian billionaire Mukesh Ambani was interested in the offer of Fenway Sports Group, which put the Liverpool football club up for sale.

As the Daily Mirror informs, Ambani has already approached an American company about acquiring the club. The Indian official is a big sports fan and owns the Mumbai Indians cricket team.

Based on Forbes data, 65-year-old Ambani is in eighth place among the richest people on the planet. His financial fortune is estimated at 90 billion pounds. From the sale of "Liverpool" Fenway Sports Group wants to get about 4 billion pounds.
