Former Kyiv Dynamo striker Viktor Leonenko commented on the information that three clubs are interested in the services of the striker of his former club Artem Besedin - the Azerbaijani Karabakh and the Turkish Kasimpasa and Sivasspor.
Viktor Leonenko- Viktor Evgenievich, what can you say about the possible transfer of Besedin to Karabakh, Kasimpasha or Sivasspor?
- I have a feeling that everyone will be happy about this - both Dynamo fans and Besedin himself. I have only one question: are there blind people sitting in these clubs? But if he passes, then I will only be glad. Maybe then they'll stop teasing him. Well, actually, his performance leaves much to be desired.
Maybe in another club, Besedin will be able to prove himself. I would like it. But where: Azerbaijan or Turkey? Although, what's the difference, our fans do not follow any of these championships.
- Which of these three clubs will suit Besedin the most?
— Of course, it is better to play in the local grand. But much will depend on the choice of the country. Perhaps Besedin's wife or dad decides everything, perhaps he decides himself. I think that it will be difficult for him in any team. Volume is volume, but when you are a striker, goals and assists are expected from you.
But if I were in his place, I would choose Azerbaijan. Baku is a beautiful city, and Qarabag is the leader of the championship.
- Does Besedin have a chance to prove himself in Dynamo if he stays?
“Even now he is not succeeding, and it will only get worse in the future. Many coaches praised Besedin for his performance and volume. Besedin plays in one of the best teams in Ukraine in a weak championship, but scores once every hundred years. Why praise him?
- In which UPL club could Besedin prove himself?
- In clubs from the bottom of the table, you need to score and win. Therefore, discounts will not be made much there either. This question should be asked to coaches: maybe there are Besedin fans among them who like the “volume of work”.
- Maybe Besedin should try himself at a lower level, for example, in the leaders of the first league: Polissya or LNZ?
- I'm not sure that Kalitvintsev will take him to Polissya. There he has Budkovsky and scores in his own goal, and in other people's (laughs - ed. note). Moreover, if Besedin did not score in Dynamo, then how will he score in weaker clubs? Although, anything is possible. I see no reason to go down somewhere, to the Premier League or the first league, if you are still in Dynamo. Let him try himself abroad. I want Besedin to succeed!
But first, let's see where he goes. Each coach has his own requirements, maybe Besedin will be put in the support zone, an extreme midfielder or made a central defender, like Lobanovsky Gusin in his time. If only they didn’t return Besedin, otherwise they would say: “Thank you, take it, we will pay you more.”
