The well-known journalist Mykola Nesenyuk spoke about the first league club "Skoruk", which bears the name of its owner - Maksym Skoruk.

"You can always find something interesting and even unique in the bowels of Ukrainian football. It seemed that who would be surprised nowadays by a "football club" founded somewhere in the village by a local tycoon and quickly promoted by its owner to "professionals"?

We have several of these in the top division. "Kolos" from Kovalivka, where there are fewer residents than seats in the stadium, "Ingulets" from Petrovy, where this stadium has not yet been built, "Minai" from the border town of Minai...

The mentioned "clubs" differ from the others in that their owners did not bother, like others, with the financing of a football team that is even slightly known to someone, but simply founded their "clubs" next to their own estates, and now both "Shakhtar" and "" Dynamo" and "Dnipro"...

There are also enough such "clubs" in the lower leagues. But there is one highlight among them - a team or a "club" called Skoruk, which plays in the first league and represents the village of Tomakivka from the Dnieper steppes. The uniqueness of this "club" lies in the fact that it bears the name of its owner - Maksym Skoruk. And although officially the team is not named after Maxim, but after his father, who is no longer alive, this does not fundamentally change anything. Because now all other non-poor Ukrainians who spend money on the maintenance of football teams look like fools!

Well, the Zasuch family did not guess to call the team from Kovalivka "Sasukha", no one suggested to name the "club" from Petrovy "Povoroznyuk", and the team from Minay - "Peresoliak"...

"Was it possible?" - now they look at each other in confusion. Why not, actually? Because almost every Ukrainian football team could, like Skoruk, bear the name of its owner or one of his relatives. The current regulation does not prohibit this. Pay money and be called whatever you want!

Do you remember how in the nineties cafes and restaurants with women's names sprang up like mushrooms after the rain? Their owners did the same to please their mothers, wives, daughters and cousins. In the end, almost all of the aforementioned eateries eventually either went bankrupt or turned into dirty run-downs. Because the name does matter. And that's why Shakhtar will, I hope, never become Akhmetov, Dynamo will become Surkis, Zorya will become Heller, Oleksandria will become Kuzmenko, Veres will become Nadein, and so on. further. Or maybe I'm such an optimist for nothing?" Nesenyuk wrote on his Facebook page.
