Today is a significant day for several famous personalities who have closely connected their lives with football.
Victor Tsygankov. Photo: fcdynamo.comVictor Tsygankov (1997) - midfielder of the Ukrainian national team and Dynamo Kyiv. Born in the city of Nahariya in Israel in the family of football goalkeeper Vitaly Tsygankov, who played at that time in the championship of this country. After the end of his father's career, the Tsygankov family returned to his native Vinnitsa, where Viktor began playing football at the local youth sports school.
In November 2010, Ivan Terletsky invited Tsyhankov to the Academy of Dynamo Kyiv, at the same time Donetsk Shakhtar was interested in the player, but Viktor decided to go to the capital. At the Dynamo Academy, Tsygankov managed to play under the guidance of Pavel Kikot, Andrey Biba, Yuri Eskin and Alexey Drotsenko.
On August 14, 2016, at the age of 18, Tsygankov made his debut for the Dynamo first team in the Premier League match against Stal Kamensk. Viktor took the field on the 77th minute instead of Artyom Gromov with the score 1:0 in favor of the Steel Workers and helped the team win a strong-willed victory 2:1. The footballer's debut in the Champions League took place on September 13 in the game against Napoli. Already in the next match in this tournament against the Turkish Besiktas, Viktor scored the first goal in European competition, thereby helping Dynamo to draw. Tsygankov scored his first goal in the Premier League against Olimpik Donetsk, becoming the 6th in the list of Dynamo young scorers in the Ukrainian championships.
Also in October 2016, the coach of the national team of Ukraine Andriy Shevchenko called Tsygankov to the matches of the qualifying tournament of the 2018 World Cup with Turkey and Kosovo, but after arriving at the camp of the national team with an injury, he was replaced in the application with Oleksandr Karavaev. He made his debut in the national team already in its next match on November 12, 2016 against the Finnish national team, which was held in Odessa.
John Heitinga (1983) - former defender of Ajax and the Netherlands national team. The following clubs also played: Berlin "Hertha", Madrid "Atletico" and Liverpool "Everton". As part of his national team, he is the bronze medalist of Euro 2004, as well as the silver medalist of the last World Cup, which was held in South Africa. In total, he played 87 matches for the national team and scored 7 goals.
Vladimir Yezersky (1976) - a former Ukrainian football player who played as a defender. During his career, Yezersky managed to play for many domestic clubs, among which are Dynamo Kiev, Dnipropetrovsk Dnipro, and Shakhtar Donetsk. As a member of the national team of Ukraine, he took part in the World Cup in 2006, where he reached the quarterfinals. In total, Yezersky played 39 matches for the Ukrainian national team, in which he scored 2 goals. Now he heads the national team of Ukraine U-19.
