Ashton United, playing in the 7th English division, has applied for a loan for Manchester City striker Erling Haaland for 28 days. This is reported by the official website of the club.
"It makes sense. City are not playing and we want to help by keeping Erling in shape. It will make more sense than him playing golf for six weeks. We think he will be a great fit for us and will fit very well into our team dynamics,” said mentor Michael Clegg.
Manchester City, which will not play in the Premier League until the end of December due to the World Cup, has so far given no answer to Ashton United.
